Though I have been biking as long as I can remember, my first real foray into mountain biking was the summer of 2013. I went for a ride while visiting my sister in Winter Park, Colorado, and I was hooked! That rush of excitement, the feeling of power, and even the exhilaration of trying something slightly “dangerous” was addictive!

Upon returning home to Wisconsin my husband and I dusted off our mountain bikes in the back of our garage, and the rest, as they say, was history!

I hope to share my experiences learning how to mountain bike in my 30’s, and perhaps beginners and first time bikers will find that relatable.

I am just so excited about sharing my passion for mountain biking, and in fostering a positive sense of camaraderie among women riders. I am hoping to expose more women to the empowerment that biking can bring. I want to share the growth, both physically and mentally, that mountain biking has brought to me. And most importantly, help to grow a community of women riders!

I primarily ride single track, and have been cautiously venturing into the world of downhill biking. (What a rush!) I love biking with my seven year old son, and watching his growth every year.

When I’m not on my bike, I am a busy mother of two sons. I love reading, painting, playing the piano, and traveling.
